
Ms. Khudairi has more than 10 years consulting experience in design, communications and collaborative project administration. Active in the Web since 1993, she successfully directed and implemented communications strategies for some of the industry's best known technologies, including XML, HTML 3.2, HTML 4.0, PICS, HTTP/1.1, and Cascading Style Sheets.
Before founding ZOT Inc., Khudairi was Solutions Architect at Cambridge Technology Partners' Interactive Solutions Group, where she led business, marketing, brand, knowledge and technology strategies for several initiatives at Marsh & McLellan as well as the launch of Office.com.
In 1996 she joined the World Wide Web Consortium as Head of Communications. A founding member of W3C's executive management, she oversaw the Consortiums global marketing, public relations and communications strategy, lead and facilitated Member relations, directed the W3C Website, and managed the W3C Track at the International World Wide Web Conference series. Under her leadership, her team was responsible for the successful migration and maintenance of the world's first Web server, as well as guiding their worldwide collaborative publishing process with more than 49,000 active pages in production. Her role in establishing the Consortium's image resulted in unparalleled media exposure, highlighting W3C among the leading information sources on the evolution of Web technology. During this period, W3C Membership tripled and more than 3,500 articles and features were written about its activities.
Prior to W3C, Khudairi provided strategic and creative direction for a wide range of clients world-wide, including Ziff Davis Interactive/ZDNet, Yahoo!Computing, Lycos, Houghton Mifflin Company, SkyMedia, Central Artery/Tunnel Project, Automobiles Citroen, PowerEgypt, and Coopers & Lybrand.
A frequent presenter on emerging Web technologies, new media design and image strategy, Khudairi was highlighted by the Industry Standard as one of the Internet's Movers. She led the East Coast team to victory in the Web '98 Cool Site in a Day contest, and was named one of Boston's Top 20 Wired Women by Webgrrls International. In addition, Khudairi was profiled by Mass High Tech and named their 1999 High Tech All Star for Interactive Media as well as featured in guru.com's Guru Gallery. She is an advisor to Archery Capital, Cabali, ETEMS, Mass High Tech and Open Ratings.
Khudairi has a BSc. in Art and Architecture from Northeastern University, and attended Harvard University's Graduate School of Design, Tulane University School of Architecture and the Boston Architectural Center.
